"After a two year absence from yoga, I returned to it wondering about the shape I was in. My first class back was with Elise at Livonia Yoga Center. Elise has a special approach, one of gentle encouragement and supportive guidance in moving to one's edge. She emphasizes the breath which helps me so much. From the breath, I can move without strain, can improve my endurance and assure the mind, body, heart connection. Sometimes Elise opens and closes with a reading that focuses my intention; sometimes she enhances a pose by softly saying my name and recommending an adjustment which makes a huge difference in the benefit of the pose.
