Prenatal Yoga Classes

Prenatal Yoga Classes Michigan | Elise Bowerman - Prenatal Yoga Specialist - DSC_8699This exciting format of Prenatal Yoga is open to all expecting moms. Classes are often offered in consecutive six-week sessions. Whether you are new to yoga or a regular practitioner, all will benefit and have fun!

For those in the process of conceiving I recommend private yoga sessions focused on fertility and stress management techniques. I'm here to help you, too!

BONUS: You'll be invited to my closed group on Facebook! Enjoy connecting with other local women going through this rite of passage into motherhood at the same time as you!

My intention is for each woman to feel empowered to listen to their inner wisdom when it comes to choices in pregnancy, birthing, and on into motherhood as she cares for her newborn.

Also, don't forget to attend a Partner Prenatal Yoga workshop! It's a great way to get your birthing partner on the same page as you with your birth intentions. You don't have to be in Prenatal Yoga classes to sign up for this workshop. All are welcome!

"Laboring is a natural response to pregnancy; however, the strength and focus to be in it often does not come naturally... which is why we practice."

Please wait until after the first trimester before starting a new exercise program, like yoga.

Visit and Share

What's better than pictures?! You (with your baby) returning to Prenatal Yoga for a visit and share! Tell future mommas your experience of labor, birth, and being a new mom.

No need to contact me, just show up a couple minutes before class begins to settle in. You'll have about 5-10 minutes to share and answer questions. It's a gift to retell your story, as it shapes your perspective of the birth, and influences other moms choices leading up to the big day.

Postnatal Yoga

Join in 'Me Time' Momma Yoga and/or Momma + Baby Yoga! I'd love to see you again! (I bet you run into a few past Prenatal Yoga mommas, too!)

About Elise

I'm a RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher) and RYT 500 (Registered Yoga Teacher) rooted in the Hatha tradition, and the Samkhya philosophy; however I attend a variety of classes, like Kundalini. I’m living my dharma (purpose) by creating a community to assist women during the rite of passage into motherhood through the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual qualities of the yoga practice.

In addition to yoga, I'm a mom of two beautiful children and have many interests including Feng Shui, Reiki, alternative healing methods, harnessing my intuition and whatever else inspires me along the way!
